Helps fill in the gaps of what is not covered by original Medicare leaving you with little to no “Out of Pocket” exposure.  Also no “in-network” provider requirement.

Medicare Advantage

Also called Medicare Part C – Medicare Advantage (MA) Plans combine Part A (hospital insurance) and Part B (medical insurance) together in one plan.  They can also be combined with Part D prescription drug coverage creating a Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MA-PD) Plan.

Stand Alone Prescription Drug Plans

Also referred to as Part D – they help keep your costs low when you have need for prescription drugs.  Everyone is required to have Part D coverage of some form.

***Plans change often from year to year so it is IMPORTANT to review your options and update your medications during annual enrollment (Oct. 15 – Dec. 7) to make sure that you are in the best plan to meet your needs and budget.
